- I'm an automotive consultant whose clients include almost every major OEM in the US. I'm based in Detroit, and previously worked at an ad agency with a Detroit 3 client. I started this blog with the extra thoughts that didn't have any place to go at work. The reason I call myself the Auto Snob is that I was often seen as the resident "East Coast liberal elitist" at the agency, being one of the few New Yorkers who ever moved TO Detroit. I drive a VW (which gave my colleagues even more ammo), but not because I don't like American cars. I just care a lot about cars (mine in particular) and I've found one that I love.
